GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs knocked off No. 20 Northeast Mississippi Community College here Thursday night, 74-67.
The Bulldogs travel to Pearl River Community College on Monday at 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs led 29-25 at halftime and then outscored the Tigers, 45-42 in the second half for the seven-point win.
Tyler Talley led the Bulldogs with 19 points including three three-pointers, and he was 8-of-9 from the free throw line. Caleb Campbell followed with 17 and Lazamion McGruder had 10. McGruder led in rebounds with 10.
The Bulldogs shot 44.8 percent from the floor (26-of-58) and 81 percent from the free throw line (17-of-21).
