DECATUR --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a MACCC win here Monday night over the East Central Community College Warriors, 69-59.
Holmes hosts Hinds on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Holmes led 44-24 at halftime. East Central outscored the Bulldogs, 35-25, in the second half, but it wasn't enough.
Tyler Talley led the Bulldogs in scoring with 22 points while Caleb Campbell had 16 and Darrius Clark had 10. Jourdain Dishmond led the Bulldogs with 10 rebounds.
For the game, the Bulldogs shot 45.5 percent from the floor (25-of-55) and 45.5 percent from the three-point line (10-of-22).
Saturday at Miss. Delta, the Bulldogs won 88-76. Talley led in scoring with 19 points while Dishmond had 17 and Clark and Campbell each had 13.
