FULTON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs made it four MACCC wins in a row here Monday night by knocking off Itawamba Community College, 75-59.
With the win, the Bulldogs went to 10-11 overall and 6-6 in the MACCC.
Holmes led 49-30 at halftime before Itawamba outscored the Bulldogs 29-26 in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Bulldgos took the 16-point win.
Ty Moore led the Bulldogs with 24 points While Jordan Brister had 13. Tyler Talley had 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Holmes shot 52 percent from the floor (26-of-50), 60 percent from three (6-of-10) and 73.9 percent from the free throw line (17-of-23).
