GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 11-12 overall and 7-7 in the MACCC finale here Saturday with a 56-48 win over Coahoma Community College.
Holmes did not make the MACCC Tournament starting tomorrow but will play in the Region XXIII Tournament after the conference tournament ends.
Coahoma led Holmes, 32-27, but the Bulldogs outscored the Tigers, 29-16, in the second half to pull out the win.
Tyler Talley led the Bulldogs with 20 points while Jordan Brister had 12. Darrius Clark and Lazamion McGruder each had five rebounds.
