GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Tuesday night in the season opener versus the Delgado Community College Dolphins, 64-63.
Holmes will play Tougaloo JV at 7 p.m. in Jackson Friday.
Delgado led 33-30 at halftime, but Holmes outscored Delgado in the second half, 33-31, in the second half, but it wasn't enough.
Dacory Porter led the Bulldogs with 18 points while Jourdain Dishmond had 13 and Raymond Adams had 11. Jalen Tatum led with seven rebounds while Caleb Campbell and Eric Green each had five.
