BATON ROUGE, La. --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 3-1 overall with a 69-53 win over the Baton Rouge Community College Bears here Thursday night.
Holmes travels to Mississippi Delta on Monday at 6 p.m.
Holmes led 37-32 at halftime, and then outscored Baton Rouge in the second half, 32-21, for the win.
Dacory Porter led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Caleb Campbell had 13, Eric Green had 12, Jalen Tatum had 11 and Jourdain Dishmond had 10. Tatum had nine rebounds.
The Bulldogs shot 46.3 percent from the floor (25-of-54) and 33.3 percent from the three-point line (7-of-21).
