CLARKSDALE --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a 58-56 victory over the Coahoma Community College Tigers here Thursday night. Caleb Campbell hit a shot with :03.1 left to give Holmes the win.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 12-8 overall and 4-6 in the MACCC. Holmes hosts East Central at 6 p.m. in Goodman on Monday.
Coahoma led 29-19 at halftime, but the Bulldogs outscored the Tigers, 38-27, in the second to pull out the win.
Jalen Tatum led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Campbell had 12 and Dacory Porter had 11. Tatum finished with 10 rebounds.
