NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a 77-63 season-opening win here Wednesday at Delgado Community College.
Holmes travels to Pearl River on Friday and Saturday. The Bulldogs play Enterprise State at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Gadsden State at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The Bulldogs led 35-25 at halftime and then outscored the Dolphins 42-38 to pull out the win.
Jalen Tatum led the Bulldogs with 20 points while Cameron Wallace had 17 and Jamar Jenkins had 11. Wallace had 14 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.
