GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a 89-68 win here Thursday over the South Arkansas Community College Stars.
Holmes will travel to Baton Rouge on Saturday.
The Bulldogs led 52-33 at halftime and then outscored the Stars, 37-35, in the second half to pull out the win.
Cameron Wallace led the Bulldogs with 26 points. Hobert Grayson and Dacory Porter each had 11. Wallace led with nine rebounds while Grayson had seven.
The Bulldogs shot 58.6 percent from the floor and 35 percent from the three-point line.
