MOORHEAD --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 6-1 on the season here Thursday night with an 80-71 win over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans.
Holmes will return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. vs. Hinds in Goodman.
The Bulldogs led 48-33 at halftime but were outscored 38-32 in the second half, but Holmes hung on for the win.
Cameron Wallace led the Bulldogs with 24 points while Trey Alexander had 14 and K.J. Sykes had 12. Wallace had eight rebounds in the game.
