Bulldogs use big second half to defeat Hinds, 84-71

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 7-1 on the season with an 84-71 win over Hinds Community College.

Holmes will play William Carey JV at 6 p.m. Friday.

Hinds led 41-37 at halftime, but the Holmes Bulldogs outscored the Hinds Bulldogs, 47-30, to pull out the win.

Trey Smith led the Bulldogs with 25 points while K.J. Sykes had 14, and Christian Parks and Cameron Wallace each had 12. Smith and Wallace each had eight rebounds.
