Bulldogs improve to 10-1 with win over Southern-Shreveport

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 10-1 on the season with a 76-62 win over Southern-Shreveport here Wednesday night.

Holmes will return to action on Saturday at Arkansas State-Newport at 2 p.m.

Holmes led 46-31 at halftime but were outscored 31-30 in the second half.

Trey Alexander led the Bulldogs with 16 points while Kameron Beverly and Cameron Wallace each had 14 and Christian Parks finished with 10. Parks led with 14 rebounds.

Against East Mississippi Monday, the Bulldogs won 59-53. Trey Smith led with 23 points while Parks had 13. Parks had 10 rebounds in the game.
