WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs won their 17th straight game to improve to 17-1 overall and 5-0 in the MACCC here Monday with a 68-64 overtime win over Co-Lin.
Holmes hosts East Mississippi at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Co-Lin led 32-26 at halftime and outscored Co-Lin, 34-28, to tie the game at regulation. Holmes then outscored Co-Lin, 8-4, in overtime.
Cameron Wallace hit two free throws with five seconds to play to tie the game and force overtime. In overtime, Jakobi Thompson hit two free throws with 17 seconds left to give Holmes a four-point cushion.
