ALABASTER, Ala. --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a season-opening 2-1 win over Andrew College here Friday.
The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the first half in the 10th minute when Hayes Adcock scored on an assist from Christopher Oviedo and Louie Richard.
Holmes led 1-0 at halftime.
The Bulldogs improved to lead to 2-0 when Caleb Jones scored on an assist from Tyler Leach in the 70th minute.
Andrew College scored their goal minutes later.
