Bulldogs begin exhibition play Friday at East Central

RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs return seven players from the 2023-24 team to this year's squad. The Bulldogs open exhibition play Friday at East Central.

The Bulldogs returning players include: John Smith, goalkeeper, Flowood; Brandon Reyes, defender, Crestview, Fla.; Ahmad Omar, midfielder, Canton; Ian Woodrey, defender, Brandon; Tyler Eldridge, forward, Brandon; Josiah Arroyo, midfielder, Crestview, Fla.; and Louie Richard, midfielder, Crestview, Fla.

Newcomers include: Gatling Myers, goalkeeper, Canton; Jeremy Heflin, defender, Florence; Landon Campbell, midfielder, Flowood; Thomas Martin, defender, Clinton; Tyler Bogard, defender, Tupelo; Marcus Moore, forward, Brandon; Alejandro Robles, midfielder, Cidra, Puerto Rico; Caleb Arney, midfielder, Flowood; Adrian Pearson, midfielder, Niceville, Fla.; Sawyer Smith, midfielder, Madison; Landon Slaven, forward, Brandon; Luis Navarro, midfielder, Laurel; Christopher Moon, defender, Brandon; Jacob Roberts, midfielder, Brandon; Jackson Callaway, forward, Pensacola, Fla.; Zachary Ellinski, midfielder, Ridgeland; Luis Ramirez, forward, Ridgeland; Chase Todd, defender, Laurel; Hunter Freeny, midfielder, Mobile, Ala.; Jonathan Martinez-Ortiz, goalkeeper, Oxford, Ala.   

Matt Convertino returns as head coach of the Bulldogs. Rafael Costa has joined the Holmes family as assistant for both the men's and women's team. Taylor Leddy returns as the goalkeeper coach.
