Holmes defeats Northeast, 7-2 in men's and 8-1 in women's action

NEW ALBANY --- The Holmes Community College tennis teams picked up wins here today over Northeast Mississippi Community College. The men's team won 7-2 and the women's team won 8-1.

In men's action, Carter Knowles, J.D. Camillo, Trace Dye, Carson Jones, Lathan Burchfield each won their singles matches while Trey Hallmark fell in No. 1 singles. Hallmark-Woolridge, Camillo-Carter Knowles and Burchfield-Jones won in doubles.

In women's action, Ava Peters, M.G. Gregg, Cayley Tiller, Allie Williamson and Rana Page Davis won in singles action. Macie Manasco fell in No. 2 singles.Peters-Gregg, Tiller-Davis and Williamson-Manasco won in doubles.
