Holmes falls to EC in men's and women's tennis

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College tennis teams fell here Thursday to East Central, 2-7 in women's and 0-9 in men's action.

In women's, Rana Paige Davis picked up a win in singles while the team of Allie Williamson and Macie Manasco won their doubles match. Ava Peters, Manasco, M.G. Gregg, Cayley Tiller and Williamson fell in singles while Peters-Gregg and Tiller-Davis fell in doubles.

In men's, Trey Hallmark, Carter Knowles, Trace Dye, J.D. Camillo, Carson Jones and Lathan Burchfield fell in singles action while Hallmark-Woolridge, Camillo-Knowles and Burchfield-Jones fell in doubles.

MCCOMB --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up an 8-1 win over the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears while the Bulldogs fell 3-6 to the Bears here Tuesday.

In women's singles, Macie Manasco, MG. Gregg, Cayley Tiller, Allie Williamson and Rana Paige Davis each picked up wins while Ava Peters fell in No. 1 singles. In doubles, Peters-Gregg, Tiller-Davis and Williamson-Manasco won.

In men's singles, Carter Knowles, Trace Dye and Lathan Burchfield won in singles while Trey Hallmark, J.D. Camillo and Carson Jones fell in singles. Hallmark-Woolridge, Camillo-Knowles and Burchfield-Jones fell in doubles. Guy Ledin fell in a singles match and Dye-Garrett Wakefield won in an extra doubles' match.
