Holmes splits with Pearl River, 10-6 and 10-2

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs split two games with Pearl River Community College here Wednesday, 10-6 and 10-2, to go to 10-27 overall and 6-12 in the MACJC.

Holmes is set to play East Central on Friday in Decatur at 11/1 p.m. Holmes will be at Mississippi Delta on Wednesday at 2/4 p.m.

In game one, Brooklyne Eubanks picked up the win. She went four innings and gave up four runs on four hits with two strikeouts and one walk. Katie Dana went three innings and gave up two runs on six hits.

Laura Fields and Teagun Barnes each had two hits with Fields adding a solo homerun and Barnes adding a double. Adyson Mann also had a double.

In game two, Mary Clayton Burrell suffered the loss. She went four innings and gave up five runs on seven hits with one strikeout. Katie Dana and Eubanks also pitched in the game.

Summer Jordan and Skyler Busbea each had a hit in the game.
