Lady Bulldogs take two from the Lady Wolves
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Lady Bulldogs picked up two wins here Thursday over Arkansas State University, 9-1 in five innings in game one and 13-6 in game two.
Holmes will host Jackson State at 12/2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Charlee Rose Tierce went five innings and picked up the win. She gave up one run on six hits with five strikeouts. Blair Walsh, Meg Glasgow, Abbie McGee and Brooke Mitchell each had two hits with Walsh and Maicee Coleman each adding a homerun.
In game two, Annie Sartin went seven innings and gave up six runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and four walks. Jadyn Miles led the Lady Bulldog with three hits while Walsh and McGee each had two hits with Walsh and McGee adding a homerun. Kayla Jennings had a grandslam in the game.
