Lady Bulldogs take two from Northwest, 9-7 and 4-2
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up two MACCC wins here Tuesday over the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers, 9-7 and 4-2.
Holmes travels to Pearl River on Friday at 2/4 p.m.
In game one, Annie Sartin got the start and went the distance to pick up the win. She gave up seven runs on 11 hits with one strikeout and one walk. Abbie McGee, Mollie Swilley and Kayla Jennings each had two hits with Swilley having a double.
In game two, Swilley got the start and went the distance to pick up the win. She gave up two runs on six hits with three strikeouts. Gracie Wiliams and Meg Glasgow each led with two hits with Williams having two doubles and Glasgow having one. Blair Walsh had a triple.
