GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs split two games here Friday with the East Central Community College Lady Warriors falling 9-5 in game one and winning 9-6 in game two.
Holmes will host Coahoma in the season finale on Wednesday at 2/4 p.m.
In game one, Mollie Swilley got the start and suffered the loss. Swilley and Lizzy Carpenter each led the Lady Bulldogs with two hits with Swilley adding a double.
In game two, Annie Sartin got the start and picked up the win. She gave up six runs on 11 hits with two strikeouts and one walk. Swilley led with two hits. Blair Walsh and Gracie Williams each had solo homeruns in the game.
