Holmes takes two from Coahoma, 9-0 and 3-0
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up two MACCC wins yesterday over the Coahoma Community College Lady Tigers, 9-0 and 3-0.
Holmes ends the regular season on Friday at 3/5 p.m. vs. Hinds in Raymond.
In game one, Mollie Swilley got the start and the win. She went five innings and gave up one hit and had three strikeouts. Blair Walsh led with three hits including a double while Jadyn Miles and Abbie McGee each had two hits with Magee adding a double.
In game two, Annie Sartin got the start and the win. She went seven innings and gave up one hit and had five strikeouts.
It was Sophomore Day as Maicee Coleman, Chesney Beckham, Camille Russell, Lizzy Carpenter and Mckenlee McDaniel were all recognized prior to game one.
