Lady Bulldogs take two from Arkansas State

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 8-4 on the season here Tuesday with two wins over Arkansas State University, 8-1 and 12-2.

Holmes will play at Calhoun Community College on Friday at 12/2 p.m.

In game one, Mollie Swilley got the start and picked up the win. She went seven innings and gave up one run on four hits with 10 strikeouts and no walks. Emma Fabre led with three hits while Jadyn Miles and Grace Williams each had two. Williams tripled with Cinclaire Simpson doubled.

In game two, Anne Elise Sartin got the start and picked up the win. She went five innings and gave up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts and one walk. Fabre and Williams each had two hits with Williams adding two triples. Simpson added a triple and a double while Abbie McGee doubled.
