GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell 79-76 here Thursday night to the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 4-1. Holmes hosts East Central on Monday in Goodman at 6 p.m.
Both teams scored 18 points in the first period, and Holmes outscored Delta, 18-16, to lead 36-34 at halftime. Holmes took the third quarter, 28-22, but Delta turned the tables in the fourth period, 23-12, to pull ahead and take the win in the game.
Ally Alford led the Lady Bulldogs with 25 points including four three-pointers while McKinna Smith had 17 points with five three pointers and Amaijah Smith had 12 points.
