GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up 78-75 win over the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves here Tuesday night.
With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 11-4 overall and 3-1 in the MACCC. Holmes travels to East Mississippi on Thursday night at 6 p.m.
Co-Lin led 24-21 after period and 39-37 at halftime. Holmes outscored the Co-Lin, 41-36, in the second half of play to pull out the win.
Danielle Luckey led the Lady Bulldogs with 26 points while Amaijah Smith had 15, Lanie Potter had 14 and Ally Alford had 10 points. Luckey pulled in 15 rebounds in the game and had her fourth straight double-double.
Against Southwest on Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs won 74-69. Amaijah Smith led with 17 points while Luckey and Darranya Wright each had 16 points. Luckey had 13 rebounds in the game.
