GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up a 71-59 win here Friday afternoon over the East Mississippi Community College Lady Lions.
Holmes, now 1-1 on the season, hosts Tougaloo JV at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Goodman.
Holmes held a one point lead at halftime, 33-32 and outscored the Lady Lions, 38-27, in the second half for the win.
Bella Roberts led the Lady Bulldogs with 17 points while Zia Shields had 13 and Darranya Wright had 12.
