GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up an 80-66 win over the South Arkansas Community College Stars here Thursday night.
Holmes will travel to Baton Rouge on Saturday.
The Lady Bulldogs trailed 37-35 at halftime but outscored the Stars, 45-29, in the second half to pull out the win.
Bella Roberts led the Lady Bulldogs with 23 points. Darranya Wright followed with 19 points and Zi'A Shields had 15. Wright finished with 15 rebound, and Roberts had nine.
