GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to 9-5 overall and 0-1 in the MACCC with a 62-55 loss here Monday night to the Meridian Lady Eagles.
Holmes will travel to Mississippi Gulf Coast on Thursday.
Holmes led 30-29 at halftime, but Meridian outscored Holmes, 33-25, in the second half to pull out the win.
Bella Roberts led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 points while Kelsey Federick had 12 and Savannah Hailey had 11. Federick led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 rebounds.
