GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up a MACCC win here Thursday over the Coahoma Lady Tigers, 70-66.
Holmes will travel to East Central on Monday night for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
Holmes led 35-31 and each team scored 35 points in the second half.
Zi'A Shields led the Lady Bulldogs with 19 points while Kelsey Federick had 16 and Darranya Wright had 12. Shields and Savannah Hailey each had seven rebounds.
Holmes shot 47.5 percent from the floor (28-of-59) and 73.7 percent from the free throw line (14-of-19).
