GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-1 here Thursday with an 80-73 win over the Northwest Mississippi Community College Lady Rangers in non-conference action.
Holmes plays Copiah-Lincoln in Goodman at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Holmes led 38-32 at halftime and outscored the Lady Rangers, 42-41, for the victory.
Nevaeh Craft led the Lady Bulldogs with 24 points while Amanda Walker had 12 and Satiya Johnson had 11. Kiara Shelly led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 rebounds while Walker added eight.
