WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up their third straight MACCC contest here Monday defeating Copiah-Lincoln, 63-62. Julissa Claxton hit one of two free throws with 10 seconds to play.
Holmes improved to 3-2 in the MACCC and 10-10 overall. Holmes hosts East Mississippi on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Co-Lin led 20-10 after one period and 31-30 at halftime. Holmes outscored Co-Lin in the second half, 33-31, to pull out the win.
Nevaeh Craft led the Lady Bulldogs with 15 points while Claxton had 14, and Kiara Shelly had 12. Satiya Johnson had nine rebounds while Bella Roberts added eight.
