Two Lady Bulldogs score four goals each in 15-0 win

RIDGELAND --- Two Holmes Community College Lady Bulldog soccer players -- sophomore Zoe Ellis and freshman Cariel Ellis -- scored four goals each in today's 15-0 win over Dyersburg State on the Ridgeland Campus.

They each added an assist to go with their four goals.  With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improved to 7-1 overall. Holmes travels to Gulf Coast on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in a non-division match.

Freshman Reagan Savell scored two goals while freshman Jocelyn Fernandez, sophomore Isabella Wade, sophomore Ja'Laycia Brown, sophomore Peyton Montgomery and freshman Cameron Gladney each had one. Mackenzie Thompson had five assists while Bailey Thompson added three assists, Kya Davis had two while Laney Smith, Anna King and Gladney along with the Ellis' had one assist each.

In action on Friday, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Hinds, 7-1 to improve to 4-0 in the North Division.

In the match, Z. Ellis and C. Ellis each had two goals. Montgomery, Brown and B. Thompson each added one goal with M. Thompson having two assists, Halleigh Steed one, Davis one, Smith one and Wade one.
