RIDGELAND --- The No. 4 Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 11-3-1 on the season and 6-1-1 in the MACCC with a 3-0 win over the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves here Tuesday afternoon.
Holmes will host Gulf Coast at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Ridgeland.
The Lady Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the first minute on a Bailee Fairley goal on an assist from Kristen Phillips. Neither team was able to score the rest of the half, and Holmes led 1-0 at the break.
Holmes went up 2-0 in the 57th minute when Phillips scored on an assist from Fairley.
KK Morris ended all scoring in the 62nd minute when she scored on an assist from Christina Guzman.
Addi Roberts started the match in goal and had no saves. Katie Smith also played and had no saves.
